A remarkable journey awaits at Bodmin Railway, as Santa by Steam returns this December.


All aboard the magical train that leaves Bodmin General for Bodmin Parkway and back again, with Santa and his elves meeting its eager passengers - who might even go home with a present!

Padstow Christmas Festival


Get into the true spirit of Christmas, with plenty to be discovered for all foodies at Padstow Christmas Festival.


Browse the delicious food and drink offering at the Christmas market, purchase a few special gifts for loved ones or watch as professional chefs put their culinary skills to the test in various chef demonstrations.

Take your family on a magical adventure along the Lost Gardens of Heligan’s garden trail, leading through the woodlands and gardens with the glow of beautiful lanterns and lights.


The light installations by The Lantern Company will celebrate the beauty of the natural world, and visitors will be able to explore the wildlife that take up residence at Heligan. Don’t forget sensible footwear, coats, hats, scarves and gloves to ensure you can enjoy your visit as much as possible. Eden Project

Father Christmas will be back with his helpers telling festive stories and talking to children ready with their wishlists! Plus, the gardens and Biomes will be twinkling with festive light displays, including immersive lights in the Rainforest Biome and live musicians in the glittering Mediterranean Biome.


Experience the magic of the Eden Project with their sparkling winter ice skating rink, which will be open until February 2024, offering 40-minute slots, lessons and family sessions. The Shipwreck Museum’s Tunnel of Lights

Head to Charlestown’s Shipwreck Museum for a mesmerising winter wonderland experience under twinkling lights, which is sure to get all the family feeling festive! The Tunnel of Lights runs until 31st December, and to make the experience even more magical, why not book the children in to meet Santa between 15th and 24th December?
