Aspects Holidays, based in Wadebridge, has donated £1000 to animal rescue charity, Last Chance Hotel.
Jules Harrison, property manager for Aspects Holidays in Wadebridge, along with the support of Morgan Tocher, property administrator, dedicates a great deal of her spare time to supporting local animal rescue charities, including Last Chance Hotel, an animal rescue sanctuary. As well as collecting donations and raising money for these charities, she also fosters end-of-life dogs, giving them the ‘last chance’ they truly deserve.
The team at Aspects Holidays admires Jules’ passion for these forgotten pets, and to show their support to Jules and the charity, they have donated £1000 to Last Chance Hotel. As its name suggests, Last Chance Hotel gives animals who would otherwise have an uncertain future ahead of them, the chance of a happy life, regardless of how much time they have left.
Those who cannot be rehomed will remain at the sanctuary, a place of safety, love and care, where medical treatment can be provided. Of course, space is limited and for those coming to the end of their lives, end-of-life fosterers like Jules step up to help.
Jules and Lisa from Last Chance Hotel recently handed over the £1000 donation, along with £100 worth of pet products to be donated to the sanctuary.
Lisa, from Last Chance Hotel expressed her gratitude: “Last Chance Hotel is a self-funding grassroots animal rescue charity run by volunteers. We are based throughout Cornwall, rescuing special animals of any kind, including the sick and terminally ill. They come to us for rehab and either go to new homes or remain under our wing for life. Some just come to us for peace and love before they die, after a life of neglect and abuse.
"Having the continued support of a local, successful company like Aspect Holidays means that the work we do for animals and our community is valued. The donations we receive through them are a lifeline, enabling Last Chance Hotel to provide the essential care and comfort to the animals that come into our rescue.”
Jules Harrison also wished to thank Aspects Holidays: “I am so thrilled that, again Aspects Holidays are supporting a local Cornish charity, this one being very close to my heart. I would also like to thank the people who have already donated gifts, bedding, food and all the essentials that dogs, cats and small animals need. Thank you to all.”
Aspects Holidays are a Cornish holiday letting agency offering a fully managed letting service. They have a wide range of properties, with offices in Hayle, St Ives, Penzance, Mullion, Falmouth, Mevagissey, Newquay, Wadebridge and Bude.
