It’s great to be back writing in the spring edition of Wadebridge Life.
After quite a wet start to the year, I am very pleased that our local reservoirs are now at capacity. According to South West Water, this means we won’t need a hosepipe ban this year. I have spent lots
of time in Wadebridge recently thanks to the Parliamentary recess over Easter.
One of the things that local people talk to me about is how great the temporary Post Office is behind the Platt. People in Wadebridge have been using it quite a bit, which will help make the case for a permanent Post Office to stay in the town. I’ve been quite clear with the Post Office Ltd that Wadebridge is too big to be left without a post office and we want it to stay. I hope they listen to us, and in the short term, Jason and the team at the temporary office are doing a fantastic job, so please go
and give them all the support you can on their Facebook page ‘Wadebridge Post Office’. If we all work together there is a good chance that we can secure the long-term future of our post office.
I have got a health survey running at the moment. You can fill it out by scanning the QR code or by contacting my office who will send you out a paper copy in the post.
I hold advice surgeries all-over North Cornwall where constituents can meet, have a chat, and share their concerns with me, so if there is anything I can help you with please contact me via my office by
email: scott@scottmann.org.uk or telephone: 01208 74337.

I am not currently an MP, as Parliament has been dissolved until after the General Election.
